SIEL 2014 Bern Global Conference

ICTSD is taking part in the biennial conference of the  Society of International Economic Law (SIEL) held in Bern, Switzerland, at the World Trade Institute (WTI), 10-12 July 2014. The Conference’s theme is: Regulatory Challenges in International Economic Law: Convergence or Divergence? Ahmed Abdel-Latif, Senior Programme Manager, Innovation, Technology and Intellectual Property Programme, will  address a panel on Geographical Indications and Trade Regulation. His intervention will focus on the Revision of the WIPO Lisbon Agreement for the Protection of Appellations of Origin and its implications for developing countries.
